Working Programme 2009-10:
A. The Board shall secure the:
- consolidation of the basic functions of the Network
- acquisition of new member organisations in as many countries as possible
- further the establishment of contacts to EU and COE
- further the establishment of contacts to relevant co-operation partners such as Culture Action Europe, Platform for Intercultural Europe, the European Network of Cultural Centres (ENCC), Europa Cantat, etc.
- relevant flow of information to member organisations and others by means of an electronic newsletter, an active website, facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
- collection of data and statistical evidence on sectoral cultural activity in Europe.
B. The Board shall endeavour to:
- secure access for cultural participation organisations to EU and COE cultural programmes and in general to influence EU and COE cultural policies by contacts to all relevant EU and COE institutions and political bodies
- facilitate relevant and necessary advice to cultural participation organisations and their groups on the application processes in regard to EU and COE programmes by printed and electronic communication
- facilitate member organisations and others in their search for international co-operation partners through contacts to member organisations and other relevant partners
- collect studies, statistical evidence and data on cultural activities from member organisations with a view to recording patterns of methodology and practice where they exist and to post studies on the website. Studies may be posted on the website in any language but with an English language summary to facilitate understanding
- encourage member organisations to undertake studies in their countries on connections between cultural participation and; economy, health, lifelong learning and knowledge management.
