ANNUAL MEETING AMATEO 2010

“Survive and Thrive! – Keeping funding for the amateur arts in an economic crisis”

The Annual Meeting includes the open conference “Survive and Thrive! – Keeping funding for the amateur arts in an economic crisis” as well as the General Meeting of AMATEO which is open only to member organisations and organisations that have applied for membership.

The venue is Hotel Frederik d. II in Slagelse - http://www.fr2.dk - situated approx. 80 kms South-West of Copenhagen with a direct train from the airport.

The programme
The programme of the Annual Meeting will focus on the economic survival of the amateur cultural organisations in Europe in the light of the financial crisis and declining state subsidies. Relevant keynote speakers will make bids on this topic for debate and discussion.

At the end of the conference you are all invited to Trelleborg, which is a Viking fortress near Slagelse.

Payment and booking
We ask for the Annual Meeting of AMATEO 2010 a contribution of EUR 50 per person. This contribution is for the entire conference, including dinner, entertainment, keynote speakers, lunch, coffee and trip by bus to Trelleborg. The contribution can be paid on arrival.
