Keynote speakers
Judith Merkies
Judith Merkies is a member of the European Parliament. In her presentation she tells us about amateur art as social phenomenon.
Daphne Tepper
Daphne Tepper is responsible for all policy and research co-ordination for Culture Action Europe. She has expert knowledge in EU policy relating to the cultural field. She shares her know-how and know-who with those who are less familiar with the European structures and mechanism.
Gerrit Walstra
Gerrit Walstra is a senior consultant at haute-equipe. He presents an overview of relevant EU funding programmes. These programmes are related to art and culture.
Merlijn Twaalfhoven
Merlijn Twaalfhoven is a musician, composer and community artist. In his presentation he shares his many experiences, in foreign countries, with community art.
Peter de Haan
Utrecht wants to be the cultural capital of Europe in 2018. Peter de Haan, director of the University Museum, plays as leader of the Foundation Peace of Utrecht a central role in this ambition of the city and province. He shares his motivation and ideas on this initiative.
