• The board will publish and circulate a manual on the Week of Amateur Arts (WAA) Europe 2011
• The board will develop partnerships with a view to preparing a potential application for a EU Grant to support the movement of amateur artists as part of the Week of Amateur Arts
• The board will establish contact with European Research Organisations with the goal to set up pan-European quantitative research in the field of the Amateur Arts
• The board will organise in co-operation with Voluntary Arts UK + Republic of Ireland the AMATEO Conference and General Assembly June 2012 in London
• The board will secure communication between the members of Amateo through the Amateo website and newsletters
From the 8th till 10th of June, the international congress about "active cultural participation in Europe" was held in Ghent. In arts centre "De Vooruit" gathered a hundred of participants from all over Europe. The Amateo network, as well as the compendium authors and other interested people grabbed their chance to learn more about active cultural participation and to enrich their network with most interesting people.
